Tour guide (m/f/d)

J-Navigator is looking for tour guides for our growing travel portfolio in Asia for group and individual travel for day and week tours.

For our Japan trips we are looking for German, English and Japanese or Korean speaking tour guides based in Japan, South Korea or Europe.

Qualifications

    • Good knowledge of German/English and Japanese
    • Ability to explain and communicate Japanese culture, traditions and history
    • Dedicated, reliable and organized
    • Local knowledge in Japan
    • Experience as a tour guide is desirable but not necessary

Product Manager Asia (m/f/d)

(Full or part time / office and home office)

We are looking for 1-2 Product Managers for destinations in Asia (mainly Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia) to support our professional and international team in Berlin.

We from J-Navigator as a B2B company based in Berlin and Kyoto, we design and realize innovative, sustainable and authentic group and individual travel (FIT) and focus geographically on East Asia. This year alone, we will turn the travel dreams of approximately 1,000 guests into reality and will be present on the market with more than 20 of our own travel formats in 2024.

We are supported in this task by a highly motivated team in Japan and Germany , who are all passionate about Japan and the tourism industry.    

Your tasks

  • Plan, create and budget new series and SiC (Seat in Coach) travel products and special group travel.
  • Revision and updating of existing travel formats
  • Calculating and budgeting FIT offers for individual travelers
  • Direct contact and communication with our numerous organizer partners throughout the D.A.C.H. area and internationally
  • Support of the back office and the booking department
  • Liaison with our booking team in Japan, Korea and Taiwan

Your profile

We are looking for an all-rounder who wants to develop and contribute to our company. We are therefore pleased to hear from:

  • Successfully completed commercial training or studies with a business orientation or a comparable qualification
  • Confident use of MS Office programs / Google Workspace
  • Tourism/booking software experience
  • several years of professional experience in tourism desirable
  • very good German and English skills are desirable (but not a must) also knowledge of Asian languages
  • Target country knowledge of East and/or Southeast Asia through travel, study, residency, etc.

Booking agent and team assistance (m/f/d)

(part-time / office in Berlin and home office)

We are looking for a Booking Agent and Team Assistant for destinations in Asia (mainly Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia) to join our professional and colorful team in Berlin.

We from J-Navigator as a B2B company based in Berlin and Kyoto, we design and realize innovative, sustainable and authentic group and individual travel (FIT) and focus geographically on East Asia. This year alone, we will turn the travel dreams of approximately 1,000 guests into reality and will be present on the market with more than 20 of our own travel formats in 2024.

Your tasks

  • Answering booking inquiries, entering bookings into our system
  • Communicating and maintaining contact with our customers (tour operators) in the appropriate language
  • Answering telephone inquiries about existing travel formats
  • Forwarding booking information to our booking team in Japan and communicating with local partners as required
  • Familiarization with our booking system and familiarization with our travel products
  • A certain degree of independent work is required
